　　Ming  Da and Icon Audio (UK) Ltd are delighted to announce that with immediate effect their Joint co-operation as important companies audio tube amplifier market.
　　Mr Xiao Ji Gui owner of Ming Da and David Shaw M.D. of Icon Audio announced their decision of joint co-operation during a regular visit of David Shaw to Ming Da’s factory in Zhuhai, China in March 2008.
The main aims of this closer co-operation will be to improve and promote tube amplifiers for which both companies are famous. This includes the sharing of technology, improving the design and marketing, as well as improved customer service in the European and Asia markets.

　　Mr David Shaw has been appointed to the position of Technical Consultant to Ming Da. He will lead Ming Da’s Technical team of experienced engineers and designers to develop and improve new ideas in the tube amplifier field, building upon the strengths of both companies.

　　In times of rapid market change and economic uncertainty customers of both Ming Da and Icon Audio can have total confidence in the technology, production quality, and back-up service. Both companies have many years experience in the field of tube amplifiers. Icon Audio for the design and manufacture of award winning tube amplifiers based on traditional British designs, and Ming Da for its internationally recognised high quality production facilities and own award winning range of amplifiers.

　　Both David Shaw and Xiao Ji Gui see this as an opportunity to consolidate their previous success and strengths, and move forward in the global market place, to benefit international customers.

　　David Shaw was born, educated and lives in Leicester UK. He has worked in the fields of production engineering, electronics, audio equipment and marketing for over 30 years.

　　He has had passionate interest in High Fidelity sound reproduction from the age of a young teenager, and has lectured on the subject.
In 1999 he set up Icon Audio, which has since won many awards and acclaims in the UK and international markets. These include:

LA4       (1) All triode line pre-amplifier.
Stereo 60 (2) KT88 65w “high end” stereo amplifier.

　　In times of rapid technological change he sees customer service and market stability as one of the corner stones of the audio business.
